Have you ever looked in the mirror and found you were starting to not recognize yourself? Sometimes it is a bad thing, but it can also be an indicator that you are outgrowing what you once were. And sometimes to move forward, you have to cut away parts of yourself or connections to others that are hindering your spiritual evolution. This mixed-media painting is the inaugural piece to an ongoing body of work related to relationships and plants as a metaphor for interpersonal change.
